Bastian Pokorni is Scientist and Senior Consultant at Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering in Stuttgart, where he is leading the future laboratory for Industry 4.0. Main focus of his work is the influence of digitalization on labour science and productivity potentials in value streams as an upgrade of Lean Manufacturing.

Mr. Pokorni is presently responsible for several industrial consulting projects in the area of analysing, identifying and evaluating Industry 4.0-potential in companies as well as for the implementation of Industry 4.0 in company’s value streams to achieve the next step of productivity.

He has worked at Robert Bosch GmbH for 9 years in various departments such as project manager in Bosch Production System department or new product introduction management department.

He graduated from European School of Business in Production Management and is lecturer at Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW).
