Within ArianeGroup’s Research and Technology Department, in charge of drawing up technological roadmaps and coordination with scientific and industrial cooperations.
The requirements cover all the company’s products (launchers, strategic missiles, liquid propulsion engines, solid propulsion engines, space propulsion, space equipment) and sites (France and Germany).
Diploma in engineering from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers (Arts et Métiers Paris Tech) in 1978.
40 years of experience in the development of space launch vehicles and atmospheric re-entry vehicles for civil and military applications.
Career started within the company “Aerospace, Space and Defence Division” which evolved (Aerospace-Matra, EADS, Astrium, Airbus DS) and now ArianeGroup.
Multi-disciplinary experience: carbon-carbon and ceramic composites for Hermès re-entry vehicles and spacecraft, ARD European re-entry capsule: structures, thermal protection and propulsion, analysis of all data and flight performance.
Over 15 years of experience in coordinating R&T activities in all technologies applicable to space launchers: materials, structures, propulsion, avionics, guidance, piloting, aerodynamics, system engineering.
