Bruno Stoufflet is graduated from École Polytechnique and is Docteur-Ingénieur from University Paris VI in Applied Mathematics. He has been working in Dassault Aviation since 1984, after performing his thesis as Research Scientist at Institut National de Recherche en Informatique et Automatique. He has been successively head of Theoretical Aerodynamic Department, then Advanced Scientific Studies.

Since 2000, as Vice-President of Scientific Strategic, R&D and Advanced Projects, he is in charge of preparation of the future in terms of technology, partnership and product (aerial system pre-design) for defense and civil activities. He participates in the development of major research programmes, such as the European Clean Sky Joint Undertaking and the Conseil d’Orientation de la recherche aéronautique civile (CORAC). He actively contributes to the reinforcement of scientific and technological activities of Dassault Aviation.

He currently stands as Vice-Chaiman of the Governing Board of Clean Sky JU and is member of the Steering Committee of CORAC. He has recently chaired the R&D Commission of GIFAS. He is member of the R&T Commission of ASD and elected member of Académie de l’air et de l’espace.
