Michel has been involved in Bell Helicopter research and development for over five years. His projects have led him to work with various consortia, including CRIAQ, GARDN and ArboraNano.

Since 2006, Michel has worked at Bell Helicopter Textron Canada on the development program for Bell 505, and the modernization program for Bell 206L-1 and 206L-3, supported the 206B, 206L and 407 product lines, and been head of the Department of Flight Technology and Research.

Before joining Bell Helicopter, Michel worked at L-3 Communications MAS and Bombardier’s Defence Services on the CF-18 program. He has held various project management roles on full-scale test programs and airframe modernization programs.

Michel has close to 20 years of experience in the aerospace industry, mainly in project management. He holds a master’s degree in project management from Université du Québec a Montréal and a bachelor’s degree in space science from the Royal Military College of Canada.

Michel is a member of the CARIC and CRIAQ scientific committees.
